When your installer registered your Heat Pump on StandByMe, you’ll receive an email with a commissioning code and the request to register as a user (if you're a new customer).
Please follow the instructions in the email and don’t forget to check your spam.
If you did not receive this mail, please visit https://standbyme.daikin.co.uk/en/?gigyaConfirmation=0 and click on ‘Register your Daikin product’ under ‘Are you a private user?’ After this, you can choose to enter the commissioning code (which you should have received from the installer) or to browse the different products to find yours.
Then you will be asked to enter and confirm your address and contact information. Now you can see your installations, warranty packages etc. on your account tab.
Don’t worry. Daikin will treat your private data with utmost care. You can find all details about our privacy policy on https://www.daikin.eu/en_us/data-protection-policy.html
Of course we will be sorry to see you go, but nevertheless you’re always free to delete your account.
You need to ask your current Service Partner or a Daikin representative to unlink your account from the installation if it is still on the property where you previously resided. Please include the new owner's contact email, first name, and last name. A contract for an extended warranty would expire, but the unit would still apply for the standard warranty. After that, the new owner can sign up for the new extended warranty plan.
Congratulations, your account has been successfully created in StandByMe! Next, login to your StandByMe account and click on "View unit" (next to your installation). If you scroll down, you will see "Get a pack for your unit". There you have to look for the UP package and order the package.
The UP package is a service which is added to your heat pump installation. Therefore it needs to be added to your account to access the UP series.
Once you log into StandByMe, you will see all the packages available for your installation. The UP package is a paid package but comes with a free trial period, so you can familiarize yourself with the benefits of this package before deciding to pay for it.
The package can be stopped at any time. This can be done through your account on StandByMe.
